The visible sphere of ours Heaven in Astrology, is
the same imaginary sphere whose center is the center of the Earth and on
which the fixed stars, planets, Sun, Moon, and the zodiac are located.
The "backward" motion of the vernal equinox, which marks 0 degrees Aries,
against the backdrop of the fixed stars is the precession of the Equinox.
A complete cycle takes about 25,800 years.
The Equinox (Equal day and night) is the points
where the Equator intersects
the Ecliptic. Also, Vernal Equinox = 0 degrees
Aries. Autumnal Equinox = 0
degrees Libra. Aries and Libra are the Equinoctal
signs. The gravitational forces of the Sun, Moon, and planets on the Earth
cause a westward movement of the intersection of the planes of the Equator
and the Ecliptic at a rate of
about 50.23 seconds of arc per year. The apparent
path of the Sun on the Celestial Sphere in Earth centered astronomy is
the Costellation Ecliptc. The Ecliptic is inclined at 23.5 degrees to the
Celestial Equator.
The point on the Celestial Equator rising on the
Eastern Horizon at birth, is the beging of the 360° circle from the
12 immaginary Signs, and the 24 hour of the circle time corrisponding our
Earth o'clock is named Zodiac. Thes i a band about 16 degrees wide whose
center is the Ecliptic. The Sun, Moon, and planets and its Asteroid family
(the planet Pluto is about 6 mounth of the jear insite the Ecliptic and
6 mounth outside, Pluto always travel within the band of the zodiac).
The Rising Sun is the intersection of the Eastern
Horizon, Prime Vertical, and Celestial Equator and the Ascendant is the
intersection of the Eastern Horizon with the Ecliptic. The center of the
zodiac is determined by the orbit of the Earth around the Sun. The apparent
path of the Sun's yearly motion through the 365,6 day around the zodiac,
a immages of 360° orbit, as projected against the celestial sphere.
The oval zodiacal circle formed by the intersection of the plane of the
ecliptic with the celestial sphere.
