The Moon is the messenger of our emotional nature and basic needs.  It also represents our past, the particular history and social background out of which we grew. Aside from our social background, the Moon governs all of the old habits that we have grown beyond, the emotional faculties such as faith, hope the instinctive mind, the desire, the external reactions to every-day affairs and and domestic life; the two moods between the extremes of optimism and pessimism; a mind that fluctuates and that lacks the ability to concentrate; modesty and strong protective sense with regard for the young and respect for the old. She tells us about our mother, as she is our first intimate relationship. 

The Moon influence the instinctive mind, the emotional faculties, hope and charity, veneration, the desire-nature and peace; activate the external reactions to every-day affairs and to those pertaining to the home and domestic life. She exercise our mind with sympathy, suavity, maternal instinct, love for kindness, receptivity, imagination, impressionability, changeableness, modesty; with strong protective sense and an inclination to realizes the self-defense. She bearing the ideas, our personal magnetism and the psychic qualities, and moods that fluctuate between the extremes of optimism and pessimism; effect the extra-sensory, receptivity, changeful, romantic, wandering, visionary, frivolous, capricious, lymphatic, plastic and the instability. She give back and restore or ingenuity and timidity, and is fond of travel.
